Living Wax Museum
This spring, our students at the MK school participated in a Living Wax Museum. Each student was required to select one person (living or dead) who had made some kind of significant contribution to history or culture. The were required to research their character’s life, complete a biographical lap book, design a table display, put together a costume, and memorize a 2 to 4 minute speech. On presentation day, we invited all of the missionaries in Mango to come and visit the schoolhouse to hear the students’ presentations. They did a fabulous job! We learned about everyone from Alexander the Great to Albert Einstein … and many remarkable pioneer missionaries also. The Living Wax Museum was a highlight of the year!
